I will remember Britt as a respected and trusted work colleague- level-headed, easy to talk to, and passionate. Those of us who had the opportunity to work with Britt will hold his memory close. Praying for peace and grace to come over Britt’s family and loved ones.

I am so shocked and sad to hear of Britt’s passing. He figures very large in my early career. Like Britt, I went to UConn. He interviewed me at DEC and I joined his team there to work on RdbStar. Several years later I left DEC and followed him to Progress. We have occasionally reached out to see how each other is doing, most recently in 2018 when he sent me a photo of his grandson and exclaimed he couldn’t believe he was a “GRANDPA!” He was obviously delighted and so proud.

Britt was one of the smartest engineers I ever met. He learned and connected the dots so quickly it would make your head spin. In addition to his raw intelligence, he was emotionally intelligent. He could relate to everyone and make them feel valued and welcome.

My heart goes out to you, Lori, and to your whole family. He was a very special man who will be missed by more people than you can imagine.
